Commissioned by NGCA and The National Glass Centre for The Decorator and the Thief…at NGCA and The Priestman Gallery, Sunderland, Sweetly Absorbing Knowledge takes Sunderland University’s logo ‘The Spark‘ and it’s motto, Scientiam Dulce Hauriens as a dual starting place to explore the spontaneous sensation of knowledge in contrast to its stable manifestations in formalised learning.
