Kate Liston is an artist based in Gateshead, UK with a practice spanning moving image, installation and writing responding to sites, locations and their histories. She works across a number of collaborations as well as through solo practice. Her practice-led PhD (2017) explored knowledge as an embodied sensation through autotheory and performative writing. She works as an Assistant Professor in Fine Art at Northumbria University.
