The World Is Reset Every Night Meaning Your Build Will Always Be Temporary is a project by Potato Press, a group of artists and writers* interested in collective and experimental ways of making texts and images.

The content of the website was generated through writing prompts, spoken improvisation and collaborative drawing, all in response to the site and context of Jarrow Hall (a reconstruction of an Anglo-Saxon village and museum to the Venerable Bede in South Tyneside). We shared, played and stories were made. Thank you to everyone who contributed by taking part in the open workshop held at Jarrow Hall in May 2025.
The website was designed by Ashleigh Armitage with type in Karrick. The project was kindly supported by Jarrow Hall and Northumbria University with funding for the website provided by WITTA at the University of West of England.
